Two 1/2 Inch mounting holes ( With thick ears to take hits without breaking) Hang from both holes for more stability but you can hang from a single hole

We utilize a CNC laser cutting table for the cutting of all our AR500 products. ( Please view our attached video )

Plasma cutting cuts slowly, this puts a lot of heat into the steel. ( Submerged plasma cutting machine is no better) This excess heat can result in excessive chipping and damage near the cut edge during use and easily shattering when shot. Plasma cutting generates large amounts of heat that is deposited into the target, softening it's edges. Theheat-affected zone (HAZ) generated by plasma cutting is the largest out of the most commonly used methods for cutting abrasion resistant steel. Most AR500 is cut with plasma cutters as they are cheap and relatively small compared to other methods.

Superior Material : AR500 3/8 Inch steel with 477 - 550 BHN Minimum surface hardness of 477 BHN. Core hardness 450 min BHN

3/8" AR500 steel targets work great for the following calibers 223, 5.56, 5.45×39, 7.62×39 and 308. For velocities over 3000fps MV use at 200 yards minimum. Handguns should be used no closer than 10 yards and rifles 100 yards.
